Spray Tanning FAQs

How long does a spray tan last?

A spray tan usually lasts around 5–10 days, depending on your skin, preparation and aftercare. Moisturising regularly and avoiding harsh exfoliation can help the colour fade more evenly.

Will the colour look orange?

No. The shade will be chosen to complement your natural skin tone and the result you would like, helping to create a natural-looking glow rather than an orange finish.

What should I wear?

Wear loose, dark clothing and open footwear after your appointment. Tight clothing, socks or fitted underwear may rub against the developing tan and cause uneven patches.

Can I shower afterwards?

Yes, but you must wait for the recommended development time before rinsing. Your rinse time will be explained during your appointment, as it can vary depending on the tanning product used.

Is a spray tan suitable for sensitive skin?

Many people with sensitive skin can have a spray tan, but suitability depends on your individual skin and any allergies or conditions. Please mention any sensitivities before your appointment so appropriate advice can be given.

How far before an event should I book?

Booking around 1–2 days before your event usually allows the colour to develop and settle. For a wedding or very special occasion, having a trial tan beforehand is recommended.
