At Pink Unicorn Glam Lounge, I specialize in delivering a magical beauty experience tailored just for you. Nestled in Waddington, Lincoln, my salon is dedicated to offering a comprehensive array of services, from laser hair removal to luxurious facials. I am committed to providing a personalized and welcoming atmosphere, ensuring every visit is a delightful escape.

My Story
A journey of care,
passion & purpose
Beauty was actually where my journey began. I first started in the beauty industry when I was just 16, and it was always something I genuinely loved.
Life took me in a different direction for a long time. Encouraged by my grandparents to pursue a degree and a more traditional career, I moved into health and social care, where I spent more than 30 years supporting, caring for and working with people.
That experience shaped me enormously. It taught me patience, empathy, communication and how important it is to make people feel comfortable, listened to and valued.
After Covid, and after experiencing burnout, I started thinking seriously about how I wanted to spend the years leading up to retirement. I realised I didn’t want to keep putting off the thing I had loved from the beginning.So I came back to beauty.
Pink Unicorn Glam Lounge grew from that decision. It allows me to keep doing what has always mattered to me, helping people, but in a happier, more creative and beautiful way.
Now I get to combine both sides of my experience: decades of caring for people with my love of beauty, hair and creating treatments that help someone leave feeling a little more confident, relaxed and looked after than when they arrived.

A Little More About Me
Pink Unicorn Glam Lounge actually grew from another part of my creative journey.
Alongside the salon, I also run Pink Unicorn Fun Parties, my face-painting and events business. Both businesses now sit under Pink Unicorn Glam & Events, bringing together the beauty and event sides of what I do.
It all started with face painting. From there, I began adding fun hair extras for parties and events, including bubble hair bobbles, colourful hair add-ons and unicorn headbands. That naturally led me further into hair, first with braids and extensions, and then eventually into the wider range of beauty treatments I offer today.
So although the salon may look like a different chapter, it is really part of the same story. One creative idea led to another, then another, until Pink Unicorn became much more than face painting.
What matters most to me, whatever treatment or service I’m doing, is that people feel comfortable. I’m very much a “come as you are” person. You don’t need to dress up, make conversation if you don’t feel like it, or worry about being judged.
I want Pink Unicorn Glam Lounge to feel like somewhere you can switch off for a while. You can have a laugh, enjoy a chat and a cuppa, request a quiet appointment, or simply take a little time out and do something for yourself.
Whether I’m face painting, creating colourful braids, doing someone’s nails or carrying out a beauty treatment, the heart of it is the same: creativity, care and helping people leave feeling a little happier and more confident than when they arrived.
